禅寺介绍 「人身难得，佛法难闻，大善知识难遇。」以天主教为主的菲律宾地区，欲听闻佛法实属不易。为了让更多人能亲近正法，开山祖师惟觉安公老和尚特于首都马尼拉成立海天禅寺，提供当地居民一处修习佛法、禅修静坐的清凉地。海天禅寺座落在交通便利、气候温和，有「小碧瑶」之称的青山区。五层楼高的独栋建筑，宽敞明亮、清净素雅，禅堂与讲堂均可容纳上百人禅修礼忏、听经闻法。自二○○二年成立以来，即积极开办各级中文禅修班、英文禅修班、梵呗班、儿童暑期禅修夏令营等课程，并定期举行礼忏、共修等法会，希望将菩提种子深植于每个人的心中。 |
