Scholastic Education
The Pu Tai Schools were founded by the Grand Master Weichueh in the Buddhist spirit of learning to realize enlightenment. He personally established the three pillars of Pu Tai education: “Chinese classics as the substance, Buddhadharma as the root, and worldly knowledge as the means.” From elementary to high school, these pillars encompass a whole person education. Through whole person education, graduates of Pu Tai not only gain a solid foundation of knowledge and skills, but also develop a strong sense of morality and personal character.
With a curriculum emphasizing excellence in core subjects as well as Chinese classics, foreign languages, fine arts, horticulture, physical education, and meditation, Pu Tai aims to give students the foundation they need to achieve their full potential and make positive changes in the global community.

Pu Tai is committed to the long-term education of its students, sustainable operation of its schools, and academic excellence in preparing global leaders.
The Pu Tai Motto: The Four Tenets of Chung Tai
