Crystal Taro Cake
Ingredients (serves 3-4):
Seasoning:
- 200 g (7 oz) water
- 40 g (1.4 o) sugar
- 155 g (5.5 oz) sweet potato starch
Steps:
- Peel and shred taro. Steam the shredded taro until softened.
- Mix sugar and water until dissolved, then add sweet potato starch and mix well. Add the steamed taro and stir until well combined.
- Grease the inside surface of a container.
- Pour the taro mixture into the container and level it out.
- Steam until cooked.
- Let cool before cutting into pieces (oiling the knife beforehand can help with cutting).
