No Irritations

A disciple was holding an important position in the monastery that has to deal with personnel complications, with much exasperation everyday. The disciple complained of this to the Master.
Master said,
"Others can be irritated. But you can have no irritations!"
The exasperation went away at once, like a puff of smoke.
