美國佛門寺無量壽營 文／佛門寺提供 　　佛門寺於二○一二年五月二十七日特別為年長者舉辦無量壽營，活動以落實圓滿中台四箴行──「對上以敬、對下以慈、對人以和、對事以真」，契悟無量光、無量壽的清淨自性為主題，行程有：問訊禮佛、靜坐行香、叩鐘發願、寺院巡禮、慈悲素齋、書法練心、太極調和身心、一心念佛等，引領大眾在有動有靜的課程活動當中，體會禪法妙用。 　　上午十時，學員陸續報到後，菩提子兒童禪修班小學員以短劇開場，詮釋「和平、和合」的重要。靜坐之前，住持法師帶領大眾進行「解結仍須繫結人」活動，以《楞嚴經》「世尊綰巾」之喻，引導大眾藉由禪修「依根解結」。在了解禪修靜坐的自受用法門之後，還要發廣大願心，以叩鐘喚醒自他之覺性，普願眾生離苦得樂，成就正覺。 　　隨後進行寺院巡禮，以瞻禮聖像及認識法器，了解諸佛菩薩的慈悲、智慧。下午的書法課程，在豐富的文房四寶及書法作品展中，認識佛教對書法的深遠影響，大眾並臨摹導師　上惟下覺大和尚新春法語「和氣增輝」墨跡，祈願以一念和善之心，化除暴戾、瞋恚之氣，創造祥和、喜悅的人生。 　　最後，住持法師開示「念佛念自心」之理，並帶領大眾攝心念佛。功德回向前，所有法師、營隊學員、發心義工們，以無盡燈供佛，願生生世世常隨佛學，依止　導師，以自性智慧明燈照破愚癡黑暗，一切眾生共證菩提。 活動心得 分組巡禮，認識佛菩薩及羅漢聖像。 全體學員在住持法師帶領下，一心念佛回向。 書法課程中，學員臨摹　導師新春法語「和氣增輝」。 習練太極拳，藉以鍊心健身。 靜坐後行香，體悟動中禪意。 護法會總幹事╱傳領　All of the activities were planned for us to practice and experience "Chan". I came away from the retreat with a greater understanding that absolutely nothing is apart from "Chan". The challenge to me is to slow down and stay aware, so that I may more fully recognize, appreciate, and live my life from the gift of my intrinsic True Nature, the Mind of Buddha.（所有的課程活動都是為了讓我們體悟「禪」；在營隊結束時，我更加地了解，做任何事都不能離開「禪」。對我而言，放慢生活步調並保持覺性是項挑戰。然而，如此才能更全心地體會與感恩這念本具的心性。佛之心，就是活在當下。） 研經班學員╱傳萃　The Bodhi Seeds performed a skit and songs for us which just warmed my heart. That they are studying the Buddha's teachings at such a young age gives me great hope for the future. We tried Chinese calligraphy which is very difficult. It requires a lot of talent and concentration, and I have a lot of respect for the generations of Buddhist monks and nuns who devoted their lives to transcribing the Buddhist scriptures. We concluded the day by chanting the Buddha's name and being mindful of his teachings.（菩提子兒童禪修班表演的短劇及歌曲，溫暖了我的心。在這麼小的年紀就學習佛法，讓我看到未來的光明希望。下午的書法課，真的很難，極需要天份及專注，這讓我更加地尊敬歷代的修行人畢生致力於抄經傳法的精神。最後，活動在念佛及發願謹遵佛陀教誨後告一段落。） 研經班學員╱傳月　Due to the kindness and respectful attitude of my fellow members at BGM and the gracious Dharma Masters, the order and peacefulness of the entire day flowed into my life. It was also my husband's seventieth birthday. I was very grateful that the conditions were perfect for us to both attend this deeply meaningful retreat.（佛門寺和藹的法師們，師兄們恭敬、慈悲的態度，以及活動中呈現的祥和與秩序，在我心中留下深刻印象。這一天也是我的同修七十歲生日，非常感恩有這樣的殊勝因緣，可以和同修一起參加這麼有意義的活動。）
