阿那律尊者

佛陀弟子眾中，天眼第一。於佛說法時酣睡，為佛所呵，遂立誓不眠，精勤修道至眼壞。佛陀教修「樂見照明金剛三昧」得天眼通，大千世界精麤悉睹，無有障礙。

Anuruddha

Anuruddha was foremost in the divine eye among the Buddha′s disciples. Once while dozing during the Buddha′s sermon, he was rebuked by the Buddha and vowed never to sleep thereafter, dedicating himself to practice until he lost his sight. The Buddha then instructed him in the "all-perceiving, illuminating vajra samadhi," enabling him to attain the divine eye. Because of this, Anuruddha could clearly perceive the subtle and coarse aspects of the entire universe without hindrance.
