優波離尊者

佛陀弟子眾中，持戒第一。為如來眾中綱紀，嚴持戒律，身口意皎潔清淨，無所觸犯；三千威儀，八萬細行盡皆具足。佛滅後經典結集，由尊者誦出律藏。

Upali

Upali was foremost in upholding the precepts among the Buddha′s disciples. He was commended by the Buddha as an exemplar of observing the monastic code. By maintaining purity in body, speech, and mind, he fully embodied the three thousand rules of conduct and eighty thousand minor precepts. After the Buddha′s parinirvana, Upali played a crucial role in compiling the sutras by reciting the Vinaya, or precepts.
