舍利弗尊者

佛陀弟子眾中，智慧第一。智力捷疾勝眾，常破外道邪說，顯揚正教，輔翼佛陀聖化，代佛說法；於僧團中主持僧事，眾所崇敬，為諸弟子中之上首。

Sariputra

Sariputra was foremost in wisdom among the Buddha′s disciples. His intellect was sharp and swift, surpassing all others. He often refuted the erroneous views of non-Buddhist sects, propagated the true teachings, and assisted the Buddha by teaching the Dharma in his place. Sariputra also presided over monastic affairs within the sangha, revered by all and considered the foremost among all disciples.
