迦旃延尊者

佛陀弟子眾中，論議第一。聞思根慧勝於他人，又名「思勝」。利智聰敏，善解佛法妙義，「略義能廣說，廣義能略說」，外道懾服其辯才，皆返邪歸正。

Katyayana

Among the Buddha′s disciples, Katyayana excelled in discussions and debates. As the foremost in wisdom and reflection, he was also called "Excellent in Thought." He possessed the sharp intellect and keen insight necessary to understand the Buddha′s profound teachings. He could expound the Dharma simply and succinctly. His debating skills were so impressive that even followers of other religions were persuaded by his arguments and converted to Buddhism.
