摩訶男尊者

佛陀最初所度五比丘之一。尊者精進勇銳，於鹿野苑聽聞四諦，即速證道果，神通自在。佛曾讚其「有速疾智」。常思濟拔眾生，普令有情俱得安樂。

Mahanaman

Mahanaman was one of the first five disciples of the Buddha. He was vigorous and diligent in spiritual cultivation. After listening to the Buddha teach the Four Noble Truths in Sarnath, he immediately attained enlightenment. The Buddha once praised him as having the wisdom of instantaneous reflection. Mahanaman constantly ponders how to liberate sentient beings and grant them peace and happiness.
